Mission Statement:

The purpose of Pocatello Teachers Federal Credit Union is to promote thrift among its members by offering the opportunity to save and to make available a source of credit. Therefore, the Board of Directors has adopted the following responsibilities:

• Recognize that the member is an owner in the business
• To maintain a discreet silence involving a member's transactions
• The member's recommendations and suggestions must be considered
• Encourage the member to become involved within the workings of the credit union
• To maintain credit union property in good order
• To maintain adequate bonding and insurance for improper performance and credit union liabilities
• To provide just and adequate wages, qualified supervision, and clean and orderly working condition
• To give the member the lowest possible cost on his loan in compliance with good business practices
• To give the member a sound return on their investment
• To maintain adequate reserves
• To support organizations that benefit all credit unions
• Protect the legal rights of the member's vote.
