Your deposit accounts are called SHARES and you can select
the savings and checking accounts that best fits your needs.
Share Account
Your share account is your
cornerstone account. All
members are required to maintain a share account with at
least $25.00 on deposit. This is your share of the
Credit Union and makes you a part owner in Pocatello Teachers
Federal Credit Union. All funds deposited in your
share account earn interest. Check out our rate page
for more information on the current share account rates. The
more you deposit the higher the yield!
Share Certificates
Start at $1,000.00 with
maturities ranging from 6 months to five years. You can choose the exact term that fits
your needs. Generally, certificates with longer maturities
will pay a higher yield. Rates may change frequently,
so check our rate page for current rates and terms.
Share Draft (Checking)
Your Credit Union
offers a checking account free from any minimum balance requirements
or monthly service fees. VISA
Debit Cards are available to qualified members. Use
your debit card to access your funds worldwide, wherever
VISA is accepted, with no check writing hassles. Direct
deposit and free bill pay are available!
Golden Apple Account
This account is a golden
opportunity to watch your money grow. The Golden Apple account is an insured money
market account. Your money is put to work in the Credit
Union, and is not invested in the stock market. Dividends
are paid on all funds. No minimum balance requirement
and checks are free. The more you invest in your Golden
Apple Account the higher the yield.
Any school in District #25, Grace Lutheran School, Holy
Sprit Catholic Community School and the Academy at Roosevelt
Center, can open a booster or sunshine account. Contact
